New to Bangkok
Just arrived? Even a little Thai changes your day fast: ordering food, getting around, making friends outside school. It also makes Thai class far less of a slog. Most students pick it up quicker than they expect, because they use it the same afternoon they learn it. Easily the most satisfying way to learn anything!
Thai at an international school
Thai can slip quietly when the school day runs in English. You still speak it at home, but you read and write it less often, and it can end up being the subject you feel least sure about. We work on the reading and the writing with you, along with the vocabulary the school day has no room for.
Thai families coming home
Some of our students are Thai, from families who left when they were small. Picking the language back up later is far more common than you would think. There is the culture to reconnect with, and there is also the pleasure of talking to Thai friends and foreign friends with the same ease.
